REPERTOIRE

There are no fixed repertoire requirements — contestants have full freedom in selecting the pieces they wish to perform.

Performing the program from memory is optional.

The same piece or video can be entered in several categories, as long as it complies with the individual criteria of each category. You also have the option to send another recording for the Additional Categories.

If your recording exceeds the maximum allowed duration, the Jury reserves the right to listen only up to the time specified in the Regulations and make their judgment based on that.

It is acceptable to submit either one movement or chosen movements from a cyclic work.

Recordings featuring a solo instrument accompanied by other instruments are accepted.

The recorded program should include one or more pieces, with a total duration not exceeding 15 minutes per category. There is no minimum time requirement.

Each application allows you to play only one musical instrument. To enter with another instrument, you must submit a different application.

RECORDING

Video recordings are submitted by participants through the application form by providing a link to a platform.

We accept links to your videos hosted on public platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, BiliBili, or equivalent; please do not send files for download.

Make sure your video is not marked as “private” to enable us to view it freely.

Please include the full names of the pieces, the composer and the performer, to the video title or description.

It is possible to submit one video per piece or combine several pieces in one video.

JURY

The performance or submission of each participant is evaluated by one or more adjudicators, whose assessments of a single contestant may vary.

The contestants will be judged based only on the submitted recordings.

The jury’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

AWARDS

All contestants will receive e-Certificates.

Each prize winner will also receive a Digital Laurel in electronic form.

In each category, candidates who receive 96–100 points will be awarded the Gold Prize; those scoring 90–95 points will receive the Silver Prize; scores of 85–89 points will earn the Bronze Prize; and participants with 79–84 points will receive an Honourable Mention.
Participants scoring below 79 points will receive a Certificate of Participation.

The total scoring is influenced by partial points for musicality and expression, charisma, technique, the level of preparation of the program, and a sense of the style of the piece being played.

Multiple winners may be awarded in each prize category.

The Jury reserves the right not to award some of the prizes, and/or to divide prizes as it sees suitable.

A Grand Prix may be awarded in each edition of the competition to a participant who stands out exceptionally — not only by achieving the highest score, but also by demonstrating outstanding artistic, technical, or creative excellence. Only one Grand Prix is selected across all categories.

Based on the jury’s recommendations, additional special awards may be presented.

APPLICATION

Participation in the Main Category requires a fee of 75 EUR, and each Additional Category (optional) costs 40 EUR.

Payment is required right after the application form is submitted via the competition website.

Once the application fee is paid it cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

To complete the application correctly, the participant or their guardian (if minor) must fill out the application form available on the competition’s website.

Submission confirmation and all further correspondence will be conducted via email.

If you have any issues with the payment do not hesitate to contact us.

An application is considered valid only after the payment has been made.

We retain the right to decline any entry that does not fulfill the competition criteria or may reflect poorly on the competition’s image.
